- suitable for contact with food
- excellent wear resistance
- high dimensional stability – better than POM-C
- good machinability
- high mechanical strength, rigidity and hardness
Application
- components in food and packaging lines
- dimensionally accurate machine parts
Types
- PET (ERTALYTE) natur
- PET (ERTALYTE) black
- PET TX (ERTALYTE TX) light grey
Product description
PET (ERTALYTE) is a material made of crystalline thermoplastic polyester. In the case of pure, additive-free material, it is labelled PET (ERTALYTE) and, in the case of solid lubricant additive material, PET TX (ERTALYTE TX). This material is particularly suitable for precision machining in engineering and is also made directly for use in the food industry, for example, as components in packing lines.

Technical documentation
Detailed description
PET (ERTALYTE) is a material made of crystalline thermoplastic polyester. In the case of pure, additive-free material, it is labelled PET (ERTALYTE) and, in the case of solid lubricant additive material, PET TX (ERTALYTE TX). This material is particularly suitable for precision machining in engineering and is also made directly for use in the food industry, for example, as components in packing lines. Closer technical parameters are given in the catalogue sheet. We offer these pipes in a standard semi-finished length of 1000 mm in the diameters given in the table of variants.
